Jade Carey Told Simone Biles, Suni Lee the Same Thing After Olympic Final

Thursday afternoon brought USA gymnasts Simone Biles and Suni Lee their second medals of the 2024 Paris Olympics. Biles and Lee, along with Jade Carey and Jordan Chiles, won gold on Tuesday in the all-around team final. Biles and Lee qualified for the all-around individual final, where Biles won gold, and Lee won bronze.

Biles finished with a total score of 59.131, just 2.666 points ahead of Lee, who finished with 56.465. The silver medal went to Brazil gymnast Rebeca Andrade, who tallied a final total of 57.932.

After their amazing performances, Biles and Lee both made posts on Instagram, highlighting their latest win.

"3rd times the charm. can’t believe I did it, AGAIN . I’m truly speechless. Olympic All Around champion!!!!!!!!!," Biles captioned her post.

"from being told that i would never be able to do gymnastics again to winning my 5th olympic medal!!," Lee captioned hers.

Carey, who watched Biles and Lee compete in the all-around individual final from the stands, commented on both posts with the exact same message to both Team USA medalists.

"so so proud of you," Carey said to both Biles and Lee.

In the team final, Biles and Chiles were the only two USA competitors to perform in all four rotations, including the vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise. Lee performed in everything except the vault, where Carey filled in.

Biles and Carey will both compete in the next women's gymnastics event, the individual vault, which will begin on Saturday, August 3. Biles will also perform in the balance beam and floor exercise final. The vault final will be the last Olympic action for Carey.

Lee will join Biles in the balance beam final. She will also be the lone USA participant in the uneven bars final.
