Simone Biles Leaves No Doubt About Her Opinion Of Rebeca Andrade

USA gymnast Simone Biles and Brazil gymnast Rebeca Andrade are arguably the two best in their sport, and they proved just that in the all-around individual final at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Biles took home the gold with a total score of 59.131, while Andrade finished right behind her with a 57.932. Both Biles and Andrade earned their second Olympic medal of the year, with their first coming in the team final, where Biles won gold and Andrade won bronze.

On Friday, ahead of the vault final, Biles revealed her true thoughts on Andrade in her latest TikTok video.

"Let me just tell you, Rebeca's good bro. Like she's good," Biles said. "I would say she is my top competitor. We have very similar scores overall, and I haven't had competition like this in a while. But I am really excited to be competing and rotating with her. She's super sweet, and she's overcome a couple injuries. So to see her back out here, amazing. So I'm excited."

Andrade gave Biles a scare during Thursday's all-around individual final. Biles took the lead after her vault performance in rotation one, but in rotation two, Andrade jumped ahead with her uneven bars routine.

But in rotation three, the balance beam, Biles retook the lead over Andrade and never looked back, securing the sixth Olympic gold medal of her career.

Andrade grew up in São Paulo, Brazil. She made her Olympic debut at the 2020 Tokyo Games, winning a gold medal in the vault and a silver in all-around, bringing her total Olympic medal count to four. She has torn her ACL on three separate occasions but recovered and bounced back in a big way.
