During group play of the men's Olympic basketball tournament on Friday, Canada and Spain clashed. Canada led 49-38 at halftime, aiming to go 3-0 in Group A, while Spain sought to avert their second Olympic loss.

Late in the second quarter, Spain narrowed the gap to four, but Shai Gilgeous-Alexander responded with a 5-0 run to restore Canada's lead. He nailed a three-pointer, then snatched the ball Sergio Llull, finishing with a fastbreak dunk.

As he jogged back, SGA turned to his bench, playfully sticking out his tongue.

Spain called a timeout immediately after, during which the Canadian star seized another moment to stick out his tongue, this time seemingly at someone behind the bench as his teammates passed by.

Regardless of who it was targeted at, it was clear that SGA was enjoying himself on the court.

Canada proceeded to take down Spain in an 88-85 nailbiter to finish group play undefeated. SGA led the way with 20 points, three rebounds, and two assists in 27 minutes of action.

Topping Group A, Canada moves on to the quarterfinals as they await their opponent on Aug. 6.
