Brittany Mahomes warned the NFL years ago about their most recent critical mistake

Brittany Mahomes' tweet from 2020 couldn't fit any better at this exact moment.

And I'm sure she's thinking the exact same thing.

On Friday night, the NFL released their final rankings for their NFL Top 100 heading into the 2024 season, which is voted on by the players. And to everyone's shock, Patrick Mahomes did not get ranked as the top player in the league.

Instead, he was at No. 4, behind Christian McCaffery, Lamar Jackson, and Tyreek Hill.

So this old tweet from Brittany resurfaced.

"No, let them keeping ranking him #4 in the league..... we love it."

Let's be real: this is going to give Patrick the additional motivation he needs to three-peat.

And plus, Mahomes is the best player in the league. Even if you can't give him that, he's at least the best quarterback.

But while he wasn't first here, Mahomes has been at the top of many other lists heading into the season. ESPN's list surveying execs, coaches, and scouts around the NFL had Mahomes ranked as No. 1, and he had the highest ranking in Madden.

So just to prove everyone wrong, let's take a look at all of Mahomes' accomplishments.

He is a three-time Super Bowl champion, three-time Super Bowl MVP, two-time NFL MVP, NFL Offensive Player of the Year, two-time first-team All-Pro and six-time Pro Bowler just to highlight a few things.

But ya, he definitely doesn't deserve that top ranking (insert eye roll emoji here).

Now Mahomes will just have to prove everyone wrong. And if there is one thing he is good at, it's winning. So Kansas City fans better get ready for another championship parade. Because after this snub, it is certainly coming.

The rest of the NFL has been put on blast.

And I'm sure Brittany will be ready to call everyone out when Mahomes does what he does.
