The self-proclaimed fastest woman in the world finally has a shot at an Olympic medal this year in Paris. Sha'Carri Richardson enters the 2024 Paris Games as the favorite in the women's 100m race after dominating at the 2023 World Championships.
Known just as much for her spunky personality as she is for her speed on the track, Richardson's races are highly anticipated for fans of Team USA. Thankfully, the track is open and competition has begun at the Stade de France.
Over the next week, Richardson will appear several times to run for a medal along with other members of Team USA. Here's everything you need to know about when she is competing at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

How many medals has Sha'Carri Richardson won?
Richardson has yet to earn her first Olympic medal after failing to make it to Tokyo in 2021 due to controversy over a drug test . That being said, she is a favorite to medal in the women's 100m after winning gold at the World Championships last year in Budapest.
Team USA also won gold in the 4x100m relay in Budapest, which would make Richardson a favorite to podium in her other race as well. While she is also a 200m sprinter, she did not qualify to represent Team USA in the race in Paris after finishing fourth at the U.S. Olympic track trials.
Sha'Carri Richardson race schedule
Richardson is slated to compete in two different events: the women's 100m and the women's 4x100m relay. For each event, she will have to make it through the heats before appearing in the semifinals or finals.
The finals of the 100m and 4x100m relay races will take place on USA Network and NNC respectively, with both the 100m semifinals and 4x100m relay Round 1 airing on USA Network as well. All events will also be live streaming on Peacock or Fubo .
