Tyreek Hill’s new extension gives him more guaranteed money than any NFL receiver

According to a report by Adam Schefter at ESPN, the Miami Dolphins and their superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill have reached agreement on a restructured contract. The new deal is worth $90 million over the next three years and includes $65 million in guarantees. If you include the guaranteed money that was already on Hill's contract, he's now at $106.5 million guaranteed total, which takes the title of the most ever for a receiver in NFL history.

Hill just turned 30 years old and it's a spicy meatball to digest for a team that hasn't found any success in the playoffs as of yet. However, Hill is indisputably either the best or at worst the second-best wide receiver on the planet after Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings. Last season Hill was as potent as ever, leading the league in receiving yards (1,799), yards per game (112.4) and touhdown catches (13).

Since getting picked by the Kansas City Chiefs in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL draft , Hill has made eight Pro Bowl teams and has earned first-team All-Pro honors five times. In addition to being an elite receiver, at one point he was also the best kickoff returner in the game, too. Hill has also won a Super Bowl.

Fans can debate the numbers and if any wide receiver over 30 is worth this much, but even if he retired tomorrow, Hill would have a pretty closed and shut case to make the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
