Jeff Ulbrich hilariously puts Jets defensive tackle's size into perspective

There aren't many men in the NFL larger than New York Jets defensive tackle Quinnen Williams, but his new teammate is one of them.

The Jets signed former San Francisco 49ers first-round draft pick Javon Kinlaw in free agency and their defensive front instantly became bigger. Kinlaw, who will turn 26 years old on October 3, stands at 6'5" and exceeds 330 pounds in weight. Williams is listed at 6'3" and 303 pounds.

Reporting that he played at around 305 pounds in 2023, Kinlaw claims to have added an estimated 30 pounds of mass over the past five months.

New York defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich responded to a question about Kinlaw's weight gain by hilariously putting the defensive tackle's size into perspective.

"Goodness gracious. Have you ever seen a man that made Quinnen Williams look little? It's unbelievable how big he is, how he moves, how he works," said Ulbrich this past week in Florham Park.

Starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who enters his 20th pro season, marveled over Kinlaw's stature last month . During the 2020 draft process, Kinlaw recorded massive measurements with 10.5-inch hands and an 83.75-inch wingspan. He played a full season for the first time in 2023 and will have a chance to break out with the Jets.

"His attitude has been fantastic. So excited for him to really demonstrate who he is. You know, he's battled injuries the last couple years, so to finally be healthy and to be right, it's exciting for him and for us," said Ulbrich.
