Aaron Rodgers played just one offensive series last season before tearing his Achilles tendon, but he's now back and ready to do some damage. It's been just under 11 months since Rodgers had surgery, and while it's been a long road to recovery, he appears ready to go full throttle and help this team contend for a title.

The 40-year-old was sorely missed last season as the franchise had a league-worst 18 touchdowns.

The veteran is very close to full strength, and according to New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh, he looks like the same player as before the gruesome injury.

    Via Rich Cimini of ESPN:

"He looks like he never missed any time," Saleh said.

The Jets have major Super Bowl aspirations, and as long as their quarterback can stay healthy, an appearance in the playoffs, at the very least, should be a reality. As reported by Cimini, the signal-caller looked solid in practice on Saturday, completing 19 of 30 passes for 210 yards.

It will be interesting to see if Rodgers suits up at all in NY's three preseason games. The team begins the 2024 season on September 9th against the star-studded San Francisco 49ers. It will be a huge test for the Jets.
