Last season saw Texans wide receiver Nico Collins be one of the Fantasy football breakouts, and plenty of managers have their eyes on him ahead of their 2024 Fantasy football draft prep. Collins clicked with rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud in 2023 and came away with the best season of his career, finishing the campaign with 80 receptions for 1,297 yards and eight touchdowns, more than doubling his numbers in all three categories from the previous season. Even with Stefon Diggs joining Houston's receiving corps, Collins is expected to build on his breakout 2023 season and climb the 2024 Fantasy football rankings. Who will be among the 2024 Fantasy football breakouts? Before crafting your 2024 Fantasy football draft strategy, be sure to check out the 2024 Fantasy football rankings and 2024 Fantasy football cheat sheets from the proven computer model at SportsLine .
Last year, the model accurately predicted that Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs would carry significantly more value than expected during his rookie season. The result: Gibbs rushed for 945 yards and 10 touchdowns while also catching 52 passes for 316 yards and a score. Gibbs was coming off the board in the middle of the fourth round on average but finished as a top-10 running back in CBS Sports PPR leagues.
The same model has a proven track record providing Fantasy football tips, identifying A.J. Brown as a sleeper in 2020 and nailing Jonathan Taylor's monstrous season in 2021. Additionally, it's called past Fantasy football sleepers like Derrick Henry in 2019, Christian McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara in 2018, and Davante Adams in 2017. Anybody who banked on players like those made a run at their league title.
The model is powered by the same people who generated projections for all three major Fantasy sites, and it beat human experts last season when there was a big difference in ranking. The projections update multiple times daily, so you're always getting the best Fantasy football advice.

Top 2024 Fantasy football breakouts
One of the 2024 Fantasy football breakouts the model is predicting: Raiders tight end Brock Bowers. One of the most dynamic tight ends in college football history, Bowers was drafted No. 13 overall in the 2024 NFL Draft and will join a Las Vegas offense that already included veteran pass-catchers like Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers.
The Raiders could turn to journeyman quarterback Gardner Minshew as their starter in 2024. Bowers caught 175 passes for 2,538 yards and 26 touchdowns in three seasons at Georgia despite an injury-plagued junior season and also rushed for five touchdowns. The model expects the Raiders to scheme up plenty of ways to get Bowers the ball this season and predicts he finishes as a top-15 tight end in 2024.
Another breakout that SportsLine's Fantasy football rankings 2024 have identified: Falcons wide receiver Drake London. Atlanta's offense will look very different this season with a new coach and coordinator calling the shots and a new quarterback under center. This opens the door for a player like London, who had the 33rd-most targets per game among wide receivers.
The upgrade from Desmond Ridder to Kirk Cousins \should benefit London and give his 2024 Fantasy football projections a boost. The former USC star is projected to go as late as the sixth round in some Fantasy football 2024 drafts, but managers should aim to draft him earlier than that.
