Davante Adams Makes His Feelings Clear On Raiders' QB Battle

    By Quinn Allen,

Davante Adams will be a top target for the Las Vegas Raiders once again in 2024, but it's still unknown who will be QB1.

Veteran Gardner Minshew and youngster Aidan O'Connell are battling it out for the starting job in training camp after the team parted ways with Jimmy Garoppolo in March following his tumultuous spell with the franchise.

While Minshew and O'Connell aren't exactly household names, there is optimism they can help the Raiders win some games after going just 8-9 during the 2023 season. When asked about the QB situation, Adams made it very clear he's working hard at building chemistry with both signal-callers.

    Via ESPN:

“There’s pros and cons, but at the end of the day, we get enough reps with both guys and we are all communicating,” Adams said.

“We have really open conversations, and we all get reps with all the quarterbacks . . . and I’m definitely watching at all times, seeing everything and learning how the ball comes out with Gardner versus Aidan. I got my antennas up for everything.”

Adams led the Raiders with 103 receptions for 1,144 receiving yards last year. He continues to be one of the best pass-catchers in the NFL, no matter who is throwing him the football. Hopefully, his production can translate to some success for Las Vegas in '24.
