Former NFL superstar and current analyst and podcaster Shannon Sharpe instantly came for heads when Noah Lyles won the 100-meter race, taking home his first gold medal at the Paris Olympics .

"Where's all that brash talking you Jamaicans were doing? When Thompson laid down that 9.77, it even got the prime minister involved. I told you we had something for you. I get the women were hurt, but Noah smoked Kishane and made Seville tap out." Sharpe said via X.

He didn't hesitate after Lyles was declared the winner. He made sure every single person that was talking prior to the race heard his opinion afterwards. Especially some of the runners from Jamaica who were in the media for their "beef" with Lyles.

Lyles will compete in the 200-meter on Monday and will look to be the first runner to win the 100-meter and the 200-meter since Carl Lewis in 1984.

Sharpe has been a prime supporter of the U.S. Olympian for quite some time and made sure that support was felt after he won by a photo finish in epic fashion.
