LeBron James Makes Opinion Of Suni Lee's New Nickname Extremely Clear

USA Gymnastics star Suni Lee got King James' approval when it comes to her new nickname. In fact, LeBron James absolutely loved it.

Lee turned a lot of heads on Sunday after she won bronze in the women's uneven bars. It was her third medal in these Summer Games, having won gold in the all-around team event and bronze in the all-around individual competition.

The 21-year-old Lee made it a goal to finish with a medal in the uneven bars, and she fulfilled that after scoring 14.800 in the final. Algeria's Kaylia Nemour scored 15.700 to win gold, while China's Qiu Qiyuan settled for silver with 15.500.

Lee was naturally ecstatic after her podium finish, with cameras catching her celebrating and clapping in joy while her hands were still filled with chalk powder. It created an iconic moment, with ESPN comparing it to LeBron's chalk toss celebration.

The Olympics' X account also gave Lee a new nickname, calling her "Sunisa LeeBron."

LeBron James, for his part, saw the post and couldn't help but share it on his Instagram Stories. The Los Angeles Lakers star and Team USA men's basketball captain wrote, ""AYYYYYEEEEEEEE [Sunisa Lee]. YOU'RE AWESOME!! Congrats on everything!"

For what it's worth, Lee saw James' response and reposted the message , although she could only laugh about it.

It's certainly quite an adorable and wholesome exchange between James and Lee. Hopefully, fans get to see them do the chalk toss together sometime soon.
