When is Spencer Lee next Olympics fight? Wrestling schedule, results, how to watch on TV and live stream

    By Daniel Yanofsky,

Considered one of the most dominant college athletes of the last few years, Iowa's Spencer Lee looks to make a name for himself at the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

The 25-year-old had a collegiate record of 98-6, winning gold at the NCAA Division I and Big Ten Championships three times. As a freestyle wrestler, Lee is a Pan American and World Championships gold medalist. His record is unmatched.

The only thing missing is an Olympic medal.

The prodigy's last international medal came eight years ago. Hawkeye coach Tom Brands, a 1996 Olympic gold medalist, has helped Lee every step of the way. That dynamic has helped Lee get the confidence he needs to succeed in Paris.

"I’m ready to go. We know what it takes to be at that level. I got coaches who have been there and know what it takes to train and prepare the best," said Lee via WHO 13 .

"He’s where he needs to be for the next step, and that’s the most important thing.  When you have a chance of takin’ care of business you’re takin’ care of it. Put yourself in the best position. He did, and he did it on his own. He did it in short turnaround," said Brands.
