Simone Biles isn't here for the follow-up questions athletes are confronted with immediately after an Olympic win.

Having secured 11 medals at the sporting competitions over the years herself, the 27-year-old is no stranger to being interviewed after competing—but there's one particular inquiry she's making known is not particularly okay with athletes.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday, Aug. 4, the most decorated gymnast in history shared a pointed message on behalf of her fellow professionals, writing, "you guys really gotta stop asking athletes what’s next after they win a medal at the Olympics."

"Let us soak up the moment we’ve worked our whole lives for," she further explained.

In the thread that followed, fans and fellow athletes alike chimed in with support.

"Athletes pour their hearts & souls into reaching these incredible milestones, and they deserve the chance to savor their achievement without immediately being pressed about the future. Let them enjoy the moment—they’ve earned it! Given the limited opportunities the press has to ask questions, it would be wise to focus on celebrating the moment & the journey that led to it. There’s so much more to explore than just the next goal," Dominique Moceanu , the youngest Olympic gold medalist in U.S. gymnastics history, replied.

"Remind them that you are still living in this moment and that the next chapter will write itself," someone else suggested, in part.

"A well deserved break should be what’s next. Just sayin," a third commenter insisted.

Meanwhile, after joking a bit, Marlon Wayans urged her to "rest champ."

At the 2024 Summer Olympics being held in Paris, Biles has taken home three gold medals and one silver, bringing her total to seven Olympic gold medals and 11 Olympic medals overall. She is tied for the second most ever won by a gymnast, and in addition to having 30 World Championship medals, she is the most decorated gymnast of all time.
