Canada, led by NBA MVP finalist Shai Gilegous-Alexnader, swept the field in group play, beating Australia, Spain, and Greece.

Outside of Team USA, Canada is considered the favorite to win gold, as they have ten NBA players on their roster. They were utterly dominant in the group stage and will be looking to advance, although the French's frontcourt of Wembanyama and Rudy Gobert presents challenges.
