For the first time in Olympics history , the world saw an all-Black gymnastics podium at the Artistic Gymnastics Women's Floor Exercise Medal Ceremony—and no one was more thrilled than the talented trio of top-scoring gymnasts.

Earlier today, Brazilian native Rebeca Andrade earned a gold medal in the floor exercise event , while Simone Biles earned the silver and her teammate, Jordan Chiles , took home the bronze. The ladies were all smiles as they received their medals on the podium, but perhaps the most memorable moment was when Biles and Chiles bowed to Andrade, who practically beamed as she held both of her fists in the air.

Following the medal ceremony Biles revealed in a press event that it was Chiles's idea to bow to the gold medalist for her victory. She said, "First, it was an all-Black podium, so that was super exciting for us. But then Jordan was like, 'Should we bow to her?' And I was like, 'Absolutely...[It was] the right thing to do."

Biles also gushed about Andrade, saying that she's "such an excitement to watch." She added, "She's so amazing, she's queen."

Andrade also said in a statement, “We can show the Black power. I love myself, my skin color. But I’m also not focused on that. Rebeca goes beyond her color. And the same goes for Jordan, for Simone. The idea is it serves as an incentive. Sometimes it may be more difficult for you because of you skin color. But you can do it, and we proved it’s possible."

While Biles took home the silver in the floor competition, she and Team USA won the gold in the team all-around, and Andrade and Brazil took home the bronze. Biles also won the gold in both the individual all-around and the vault, while Andrade scored a silver medal for both events.

Chiles told the media, "Not only has [Rebeca] given Simone her flowers, but a lot of us in the United States our flowers as well, so giving it back is what makes it so beautiful, so I felt like it was needed."

She continued, "She is a legend an icon herself, so I feel like being recognized is what everybody should do when it comes to somebody who has put in the work, put in the dedication."

Queens supporting queens? I love to see it.
