The Las Vegas Raiders are at training camp getting ready for their first preseason game coming up on Saturday. However, they won't have everyone with them.

They are dealing with several injuries so far this training camp, and are not yet at full strength. The Raiders placed linebacker Darien Butler, guard Jake Johanning, guard Jackson Powers-Johnson , and tackle Kolton Miller on the Physically Unable to Perform list. This is not a long-term thing, but, we can expect these guys to miss at least a few days of camp. However, this is an opportunity for other players to step up.

While it sucks to have such key players missing important time, they did get some good news on one of their versatile weapons who started training camp on the PUP list.

According to several writers and reporters there, wide receiver Jalen Guyton, who played for the Los Angeles Chargers the last few seasons, is at practice on Monday with a helmet on. That signifies that he is activated.

Guyton is a speedy, quick, agile receiver who can make plays downfield and especially midfield. However, his versatility comes in the return game as well.

With the new kickoff rules, Guyton could be a player the Raiders may want to try on the kickoff. Now, Guyton has only ever returned two punts in his career, and those were both in 2021. However, they are obviously trying players who have never done it before -- look at Jack Jones and the touchdown he had during the scrimmage.

So, either way, this is good news.
