Tom Brady Posts Message for LeBron James Ahead of USA-Brazil Clash

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James and Team USA went 3-0 in Group C of the 2024 Paris Olympics to secure the top seed in the elimination round. The USA men's national basketball team has beaten Serbia, South Sudan, and Puerto Rico by a combined total of 64 points, making it look easy.

NFL and New England Patriots legend Tom Brady has also made his way to Paris for the 2024 games. He was in attendance for Simone Biles' last two finals performances on Monday morning and linked up with LeBron and other members of Team USA afterward.

In a photo posted to his Instagram story, Brady posed with his daughter Vivian and James, and captioned the image with a message to James and Team USA.

"We got your back," Brady said with an American flag emoji.

Through three Olympic games, LeBron is averaging 14.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 7.3 assists. He has already secured two Olympic gold medals and three medals overall. His gold came in the 2008 Beijing and the 2012 London Olympics. He also won bronze in the 2004 Athens Olympics. LeBron has also added four NBA championships to his resume.

Brady is widely considered the greatest football player of all time. In his 23-year NFL career, Brady won seven Super Bowls, six with New England and one with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He also secured three NFL MVP awards.

LeBron and Team USA will take on Brazil in the Olympic quarterfinals on Tuesday, August 6, at 3:30 p.m. ET. The winner will take on the the winner of the Serbia-Australia game in the semifinals.
