The U.S. men's basketball team went a perfect 3-0 in the Paris Olympics group phase, clinching the top seed for the knockout round. Team USA will face Brazil in the quarterfinals, and the winner of that game will face the winner of Australia-Serbia in the semifinals.
Team USA has been lead by different players in all three of their Olympic contests, but it was Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards who finished the Group Phase atop the team's scoring leaderboard. Averaging 16.7 points per game, Edwards is Team USA's leading scorer entering the quarterfinals.
Celebrating his 23rd birthday on Monday, Edwards went viral with an incredible shooting display at USA Basketball practice:
This video has already accumulated over 100,000 views in just three hours, as fans have been in awe of Edwards' shooting accuracy. Edwards made all 10 of his three-point attempts in this video, and has made seven of his 13 attempts through three Olympic games.
At age 23, Edwards has already accomplished a lot in the NBA. In four NBA seasons, Edwards has made two All-Star appearances and one All-NBA team. Edwards is looking to add an Olympic gold medal to his list of accomplishments.
Edwards' shooting display at Monday's practice is not the only exciting video shared by USA Basketball ahead of their game against Brazil, as both Steph Curry and LeBron James were captured by the media team getting up shots from the corner.
This video from USA Basketball has nearly 60,000 views in just two hours:
USA and Brazil will tip-off at 3:30 PM ET on Tuesday. The winner of this game will advance to the semifinals where the winner of Australia-Serbia will await them.
