Getting all of the ketchup out of a bottle can be tricky, and some of the most popular methods don't always do the trick.
Some people try to tap the neck of the condiment bottle with a spoon to dislodge the ketchup, while others use a butter knife to loosen the ketchup stuck to the sides.
Probably the most popular method is to turn the bottle upside down and shake it vigorously, or to hit the bottom of the bottle while it's upside down. Some people just wait and allow gravity to do the trick by holding the bottle upside down and waiting for the ketchup to flow to the opening.
Content creator @dzunglewis (who goes by Honeysuckle online) tried a new method, though, and it looks like a lot of fun! In order to make this one work, though, you're going to have to get your pitching arm ready.

According to the hack that Honeysuckle shared on her TikTok account , you have to hold the ketchup bottle in your hand and then wind your arm around in a circular motion, similar to a softball pitch or a windmill. Do a few fast rotations like this, holding tightly to the bottle so it doesn't slip out of your hand, and then set the bottle down on its lid. The ketchup that was at the bottom should now be near the lid.
Honeysuckle was astonished at how well this actually worked and she gave it a 10/10 rating. People in the comments were excited to see that she ranked it so highly, but a few had a warning for anyone who wanted to try it at home.
One person said she showed the hack to her mom and the bottle cap hit the countertop, opening the cap and flinging ketchup on the ceiling.
"Not fun when the flap opens up and it spills everywhere," another person said. Let that be a lesson to make sure the cap is securely closed before you try swinging your ketchup bottle around in a circle, or you may have a huge mess to clean up!
