Simone Biles capped her Paris Olympics run with a silver medal in the Women's Floor Artistic gymnastics event on Monday.

Following her competition in the final leg of the women's gymnastics events, Biles spoke with the media to talk about her time in Paris, France.

She shared a few pointers on how she's been feeling at the Olympic Games, mentioning that she's in a "good spot mentally."

NBC's Mike Tirico interviewed Biles, and one of his main points was the gymnast having a brighter smile in 2024.

Tricia asked what made Biles have such exuberant happiness since many fans and media personnel have been commenting on her mental state.

“Because I’m a lot happier and I chose to do this," Biles said. "So at the end of the day, whatever happens, happens. But, I’m in a good spot mentally and physically so you can’t take that away from me. So whenever I’m out there, it’s just like pure joy. Can’t believe I’m out there again, competing, representing my country, just doing what I love.”

Biles finished her Olympic run in Paris with three gold medals: in the Women's Artistic Individual All-Around, Women's Artistic Team All-Around, and the Women's Vault Artistic gymnastics.

Her mental state was questioned because the 2020 Tokyo Olympics had a completely different finale for Simone Biles.

During her time at the Tokyo Olympics, Biles ended up bowing out of the international games due to a case of the twisties.

Biles once described the twisties as being "lost in the air," meaning the gymnast does not know how to land or even where she is.

She ended up missing multiple events after earning a silver medal in the Team All-Around and a bronze medal in the balance beam during the Tokyo Games.

Despite struggling in the last Olympic Games, Biles didn't just earn four medals in Paris; the 27-year-old earned her Olympic pride back.
