Miranda Lambert Teases Unreleased Song From Forthcoming ‘Postcards From Texas’ Album, “No Man’s Land”

Slowing it down a little bit.

Miranda Lambert is gearing up to release her 10th studio album Postcards from Texas, which was produced by Miranda alongside Jon Randall at Austin’s legendary Arlyn Recording Studios.

She has noted in several interviews now that it’s full of steel guitar and honky tonk production, and harkens back to some of her first, most legendary albums like Kerosene and Revolution, which as a longtime fan, is quite literally music to my ears.

And based on songs she’s already released like “Wranglers,” “Dammit Randy” And most recently “Alimony,” I’d say that’s proving to be the case, and this record stands to be one of the best she’s ever released.

Earlier, she teased another unreleased one from the tracklist called “No Man’s Land,” which was written by Miranda along with frequent collaborator Luke Dick, where she sings about wanting to be loved, but also to be able to run free and wild:

“And even when she’s in your arms,

She’s still no man’s land,

So love her live a mustang, like a wild thing,

Better let her run free

If she wants to love you, you let her love you,

You give her everything”

It’s a lot softer than the other three singles we’ve heard thus far, and I won’t be surprised if we get to hear the full studio cut sometime before Postcards from Texas is released on September 13th.
