We now have a specific launch date for the horror-themed first-person stealth action game A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead. Publisher Saber Interactive has revealed that the game, developed by Stormind Games, will be released on October 17 for the PC via Steam, along with Microsoft's Xbox Series S and X consoles and Sony's PS5 console. The game is being released in the middle of the Halloween season.

According to a recent report from Gameplaycassi, the two upcoming action RPGs Black Myth: Wukong and Phantom Blade Zero which were featured in the recent PlayStation ChinaJoy 2024 event caused some worries about being PlayStation exclusives. The developers responded to this by saying they do not currently have console exclusivity deals. According to the report, Journalists present at the ChinaJoy exhibition were able to communicate with representatives of developers Game Science and S-GAME about exclusivity, and they noted PlayStation provides comprehensive support in promoting the games in China and abroad. Additionally, PlayStation are reportedly helping with marketing for Phantom Blade Zero by supplying demo stations at events.
