Eva Mendes made quite a splash at the 2024 Summer Olympics, capturing attention while seated alongside her partner, Ryan Gosling , in the stands over the weekend. The Hitch actress, 50, and Barbie actor, 43, joined their two daughters , Esmeralda , 9, and Amada , 8, making their debut public appearance as a family by attending the international games.

They were spotted at the equestrian Grand Prix freestyle held at the Chateau de Versailles. Vogue Magazine shared snapshots of the duo on Instagram, which quickly went viral.

However , the social media buzz soon took a different turn , as numerous fans began speculating that Mendes had received lip fillers. They remarked on her "duck lips," igniting rumors of recent cosmetic enhancements .

Mendes donned a chic navy sleeveless dress, white sunglasses and a classic straw hat. While many fans online praised her summery style, others couldn't help but notice her "pronounced" pout in the new photos.

"She needs to stop with the fillers she looks different now, Botox makes her look different," one commented beneath the recent Vogue IG post as another added: "Enough with the duck lips." Someone else replied: "her poutie lips & fillers are way too much… kinda looks ridic."

This also isn't the first time that the Ghost Rider star has sparked cosmetic surgery rumors. Earlier this spring, after her segment on the Today Show , a number of fans expressed their opinions on TikTok, with some stating that they noticed a certain unfamiliarity in Mendes' appearance or considered her to be “unrecognizable.”

On the show, Mendes donned a ribbed, baby pink knit top, a matching cropped cardigan and chic pencil midi skirt of the same hue. She added white pointed-toe heels and shiny rings to accessorize.

As for her glam, the Training Day star wore her caramel-colored tresses down, parted in the center and styled into feathery, effortless loose waves. For her makeup look, the mom of two opted for black winged liner,  smokey eyeshadow, voluminous lashes, rosy blush and a nude lip.

After the Today Show shared a clip of Mendes on TikTok, fans shared their thoughts in the comments section of the March 26th post. "Me thinking 'Damn! this is not how i remember Eva Mendes' Did i miss something?," one wrote as another added: "No something is off and it’s not the aging, like something was lifted."

One other replied: "she is almost unrecognisable." Someone else chimed in: "Wait what happened!??? Who is this" as one viewer noted: "my brain can't process this is her."

Mendes has yet to address these comments or even plastic surgery accusations. Regarding her break from acting , Mendes told the interviewer: "It was like a no brainer. I'm so lucky, and I was like, 'If I can have this time with my children,' and I still worked, I just didn't act, because acting takes you on locations, it takes you away.

The Other Guys actress added: "It was almost just like a nonverbal agreement that it was like, okay, [Ryan Gosling] is going to work, and I'm going to work, I'm just going to work here [in the home]."

Mendes and Gosling began their romantic relationship after co-starring in the 2012 crime drama, The Place Beyond the Pines , together. They tend to keep their personal lives , especially those involving their daughters, under wraps.
