In fact, pre-orders for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S are coming tomorrow, on August 8, 2024. The Nintendo Switch opens up pre-orders a day later, on August 9, 2024. For some reason, Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP will not have pre-orders on Steam, and we aren’t entirely sure why.

Horror game publisher/developer Puppet Combo has announced console ports for Comp-3 Interactive’s Rewind or Die, a PS1-inspired throwback to 90s VHS rentals. Rewind or Die is coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, PS4, and PS5 on August 16th. The throwback horror game has been on PC (via Steam).

Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP‘s new release date is “sweeter than candy on a stick,” because it has moved up a few weeks for North American, South American, and European countries. The action game is now heading to the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC on September 12, per Gematsu, instead of the 25th.

Microsoft has revealed the first batch of games heading to Xbox Game Pass in August 2024. In an Xbox Wire post, Microsoft confirmed Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, Mafia: Definitive Edition, and Creatures of Ava will be added to the subscription service. All of these will be available to subscribers via PC, Xbox, and Xbox Cloud Gaming (if you are an Ultimate tier subscriber). The first of these three games, Creatures of Ava, will be available to Game Pass subscribers starting August 7.
