“Still no refund from @dunkindonuts I’m very disappointed,” the post read.

“I’ll have to start getting my coffee elsewhere when I’m out n about. To pay $5 for something and not receive anything is unacceptable. Dunkin needs to do better.”

Dunkin’ Rewards is a customer loyalty program that allows a member to receive and redeem points for rewards.

The coffee company promises that members will earn 10 points per $1 spent on qualifying purchases in-store and in the Dunkin’ app .

Rewards customers who visit 12 times in a calendar month can unlock a “boosted status” and start earning 12 points per $1 spent for 3 months.

Members also receive exclusive offers, discounts , and surprises.

Dunkin’ Rewards members rave about the extra points they receive on any purchases made the day before, the day of, or the day after their birthday.

Despite the perks, several Dunkin’ customers expressed their frustration with the company’s return policy.

“Each Reward has a unique number and can only be used once. Once a Reward has been applied, it is non-refundable,” the website reads.

However, several consumers said they had been successful when asking for a refund.

One social media user told consumers to scroll on the Dunkin’ mobile app and select the option to “Get Help” and then “Chat with a virtual assistant or call.”

“They will try to give u 250 points but just decline and try to get a chat with a real person,” the user said.

“Personally, I’ve gotten a mixed bag of responses about refunds for orders in the app,” said another.

The consumer said they’ve received varied responses from Dunkin’s customer service representative when asking for a refund.

Sometimes they are told there’s “nothing that can be done,” but other times they are told to bring back their receipt the next day for a refund.

In some cases, Dunkin’ employees told the consumer to show them their Dunkin’ scan code so they can refund them on the spot.

Dunkin’ clearly states that each Reward has a unique number and can only be used once. Once a Reward has been applied, it is non-refundable.

“You could email customerservice@dunkinbrands.com with a screenshot of your mobile order and explain why you want a refund,” a third user suggested. “I did this and they refunded me within a couple days.”

The U.S. Sun reached out to Dunkin’ for clarification on their refund policy, but they did not reply for immediate comment.

Frustrated Dunkin’ consumers said they much prefer Starbucks’ point system and will start buying their coffee from the rival company.

Meanwhile, Dunkin’s menu for Halloween has been quietly revealed.

And customers were shocked to receive half-filled drinks after asking for light ice, but they were told it was the store’s policy.
