Miami Dolphins Fans Will Be Fired Up Over This Prediction

After taking a nice step forward in 2023 and making the playoffs, the Miami Dolphins are hoping to make more progress this season.

Last year, the Dolphins proved that they have one of the best offenses in the NFL. Unfortunately for that offense and Miami, they had to go on the road in the playoffs and play against the Kansas City Chiefs in one of the coldest games that we have seen in a long time. With the Dolphins being used to warm weather, they didn’t fare all that well in the elements.

With the Dolphins bringing back their explosive offense in 2024 and perhaps even getting a little bit better with the addition of Odell Beckham Jr., they were recently predicted to have an excellent season by Pro Football Network.

In their predictions for the season, the Dolphins go 14-3 and cruise to an AFC East Title.

Here’s what they had to say.

“The AFC East produces just one playoff team for the first time since 2020 as the Dolphins end their 15-year division championship drought in dominating fashion. Miami, buoyed by quarterback Tua Tagovailoa’s contract extension just before training camp opened, finishes five games ahead of the Buffalo Bills in the standings. Miami also sweeps their division rivals for the season, going a staggering 6-0 in the competitive AFC East.

While Miami dominates their way through the regular season, the Bills and New York Jets each have very disappointing seasons. Despite Aaron Rodgers’ return from his torn Achilles injury, the Jets’ playoff drought continues, as they finish with a losing record.”

That may be a bit unrealistic for the Dolphins

Even though the Dolphins’ offense is very good, it is hard to imagine that this team goes 14-3. In the AFC East alone, the Dolphins will have to battle with two potential playoff teams in the Jets and Bills.

Shockingly, in their predictions, the Dolphins swept the division going 6-0, which was a big part in their successful season.

Miami is going to be a good team once again this season, but they must prove themselves both on the road and against good teams. The Dolphins were not the same squad against the upper echelon teams in the league last season, as they did a nice job beating up on easier competition.

While a successful season could be in the cards for the Dolphins, don’t expect them to go 14-3 and run away with the AFC East.
