How to watch Team USA take on Brazil on Tuesday, August 6

Tipoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET. The television broadcast will be carried by NBC as well as Peacock.

Team USA would improve to 4-0 in Olympic play by picking up a win against Brazil today.

A Celtics-related storyline to watch is if Jrue Holiday returns to action after missing the Puerto Rico game due to a leg injury.

Star Celtics Forward Continues To Receive Support Over Team USA Benching

It has been over a week since star Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum did not see the floor in Team USA's opening game of the Olympics.

Tatum has weighed in on the situation. Team USA head coach Steve Kerr explained the decision as well.

Even though Tatum has started both games since then he continues to receive support from prominent figures in the basketball world.

Draymond Green , a forward for Kerr's Golden State Warriors , came to Tatum's defense in a recent episode of " The Draymond Green Show ."

A Boston.com article written by Conor Roche included quotes Green made on the subject.

“You don’t not play Jayson Tatum,” Green said. “That man just won an NBA championship, he’s on the cover of NBA 2K, on the cover of Sports Illustrated, saying ‘Cheers,’ and just signed the biggest contract in NBA history. Oh, and by the way, your reward is to sit down and don’t play in the first Olympic game.”

Green reminded everyone how impactful Tatum was during the 2020 Olympics

“2020 Olympics, our team, our offense was built around Jayson Tatum and Kevin Durant ,” Green said. “It was almost kind of set up as KD was passing the torch to JT to now take it because, at the time, I don’t Kevin’s mind was set on Paris.

“I think there was kind of this forgone conclusion or thought that, ‘Yeah, [Durant’s] passing the torch to JT. And then JT come out and not play? I couldn’t believe that.”

Green gave his thoughts on the lineups but never mentioned his coach by name.

“JT goes from out of the rotation, zero minutes, to the starting lineup? That don’t make him feel good because this is the story,” Green said. “‘Now, I’m all of a sudden in the starting lineup. I’m Jayson Tatum and it’s almost like [I’m getting this] so [I] don’t feel bad.’ Like, that don’t make him feel good. I’m sure it probably made him feel worse about it.

“So, I just disagree with what’s going on with the lineup stuff.”
