Bryan Danielson Has Let Slip John Laurinaitis’ Marriage Status Following Janal Grant’s Lawsuit

In September 2015, former WWE employee John Laurinaitis became engaged to Kathy Colace, the mother of The Garcia Twins. Subsequently, the loved-up pair would marry in 2016, and it was hoped they’d have a wonderful life together. However, once Janel Grant’s lawsuit went public, specifically naming Laurinaitis as being involved in her mistreatment while working for WWE, fans wondered what this meant for his marriage.

And now seemingly confirming the twins’ mother has either divorced Laurinaitis or is at least in the process of doing so, Bryan Danielson, who is married to Brie Garcia, has referred to the disgraced former executive as his “ ex-father-in-law ,” while discussing the scandal with the Gorilla Position .

“First and foremost, I want to say people that have been hurt are in a way worse position than I am, my empathy goes to them. There’s not a lot I want to say about it, honestly, because it’s not just the Vince piece, but my father-in-law, or maybe ex-father-in-law, as far as that kind of stuff goes.”

62-year-old Laurinaitis started wrestling in 1986 under the name Johnny Ace, and while he never matched his brother Road Warrior Animal’s success, he still had a notable career in Japan. Then, following his in-ring retirement in 2000, he would transition into working backstage for WCW, which eventually saw him join WWE when Vince McMahon purchased the company. Yet, his lengthy spell with the company ended in 2022 when he was fired after the initial misconduct claims against McMahon and himself first went public.
