Simone Biles is Contemplating a Major Life Decision with Husband Jonathan Owens

Simone Biles' 2024 Olympic campaign came to a close with her silver medal in the Floor final on Monday. This medal gave her the fourth of this year's games, and the 11th of her all-time great Olympic career.

Biles, 27, hasn't ruled out the option of returning to Olympic competition when the games come to Los Angeles in 2028. But with Father Time catching up to her, she has quite a lot to think about before making that decision.

Biles may have another major life decision on the horizon. During an interview from Paris on Tuesday morning, the superstar gymnast discussed her future life plans with her husband, Jonathan Owens.

Biles said she and Owens have been thinking a lot about having kids and starting a family.

"Me and Jonathan always talk about kids," Biles said. "He would have them, like, yesterday if he could have."

"Obviously we both have goals that we want to achieve before we start a family. But yes, that’s definitely in our future," she continued.

Owens, 29, shares a similar view on the subject. When asked about the idea of having children with Biles earlier this month, the Chicago Bears defensive back had this to say:

"Man, in the future, man. For sure," he said, via People .

Biles and Owens married in the spring of 2023. Owens got permission to leave Bears training camp this summer to support Biles in Paris. The NFL safety has been overwhelmingly supportive of his wife as she continues her legacy as the greatest gymnast of all time.
