It looks like streaming customers will be hit with yet another price hike. Disney announced it will be increasing prices for the standalone subscriptions to Disney+ , Hulu , and ESPN+ , as well as the bundles, according to Variety .

The basic Disney+ plan with ads will increase from $7.99 a month to $9.99, while the premium ad-free tier will increase to $15.99 a month. Hulu with adds will be going up $2 in price, now costing $9.99 a month, while the ad-free tier will increase to $18.99 a month.

Prices for the Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ bundles will also increase this fall.

The Disney Duo Premium bundle (Disney+ and Hulu without ads) will remain unchanged at $19.99 a month. But the Disney Bundle Trio Basic (Disney+, Hulu with ads, and ESPN+) bundle and the Disney Bundle Trio Premium (Disney+, Hulu without ads, ESPN+) will both increase $2 a month starting this fall.

The biggest price increase will be seen in Hulu’s Live TV tiers, where the subscription will increase to $82.99 for Live TV with ads and $95.99 for the ad-free Live TV tier.

But Disney+ will also be offering some new perks to subscribers with this new price tag.

Beginning Sept. 4, Disney+ users will have access to the ABC News Live streaming channel. A new playlist with preschool content will also be added to the streamer. Users who are subscribed to the ad-free Premium tier will also have access to four new curated playlists in the fall.

“With this growing offering, and new ways to enjoy your favorite Disney+ content, Disney subscription plans remain among the best values in streaming today,” the company said in the announcement.

The price increases will go into effect starting Oct. 17.

Disney last raised prices in 2023, however, the changes only affected users subscribed to ad-free tier on Disney+, Hulu, Hulu with Live TV, and ESPN+. The company made a point of not raising the price on ad-supported tiers, though that no longer seems to be the case.

“Maintaining access to our content for as broad an audience as possible is top of mind for us,” Disney boss Bob Iger said at the time.

This news also comes after Disney, Fox, and Warner Bros. unveiled their new joint sports venture Venu , which will cost consumers $42.99 a month with the expectation that price will likely increase down the line.
