Team USA advanced to the 2024 Paris Olympics semifinals with a win over Brazil on Tuesday. The 122-87 victory was a convincing one for Team USA, as they controlled the game from start to finish.

Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant became Team USA's all-time Olympics leading scorer in Tuesday's quarterfinals win over Brazil. Finishing with 11 points, Durant moved past WNBA legend Lisa Leslie for the all-time lead in this category.

In her historic Olympic career, Leslie tallied 488 points. Now with 494 and counting, Durant has at least two more games this summer to add to his all-time leading points total.

Active on social media, Leslie reacted to Durant breaking her historic record with a heartfelt message to the NBA star.

"Congratulations [Kevin Durant]," Leslie wrote in a post on X. "I’m honored to have you break my [Team USA] Olympic record!!! Our dedication to our country is evident and etched in stone!! Now go get another Gold medal my friend! One Team, One Goal, Gold!"

Leslie's reaction has gone viral, accumulating over 120,000 views in the first hour since it was posted.

A basketball legend, Leslie made eight All-Star teams and won three MVP awards in her 12 WNBA seasons with the Los Angeles Sparks. Having an equally successful Olympic career, Leslie was Team USA's all-time leading scorer before Durant broke her record, and still sits atop the women's leaderboard.
