Another famous Jennifer may have her eyes set on Ben Affleck amid claims of 'flirting' from an insider.
Jennifer Aniston , 55, and Ben, 51, have already crossed paths over the years -they co-starred together in the 2009 rom-com He’s Just Not That Into You - and she hopes they will again. The Friends star has reportedly been crushing on the Daredevil star “for years” and now that he and his wife Jennifer Lopez are claimed to be near divorce, she might have her chance with him.
“Jen has definitely had a mini crush on Ben for years, but he’s always been in these very serious, long-term relationships during that time. But change is in the air,” a source close to Jennifer Anniston told In Touch Weekly.

Even though J.Lo and Ben haven’t confirmed or denied speculation, their actions seemingly prove that the two are dunzo. For example, Ben was recently caught not wearing his wedding ring, and J.Lo spent their wedding anniversary, which was last month, in the Hamptons without Ben.
As their divorce is most likely imminent - it’s been reported that Ben is holding back on filing to save the songstress from embarrassment - the blue-eyed beauty is ready for Ben to be single.
“As things pretty openly wind down between J. Lo and Ben, there’s a real opportunity for Jen [Aniston] to make up for lost time with Ben,” the source explained to the news publication. “They’ve never really been single at the same time before, and Jen has been a true-blue fan of Ben’s for decades.”
Ben and The Morning Show star could never explore their off-camera chemistry because they were never available at the same time. When Jennifer was finalizing her divorce from Brad Pitt in 2005, Ben was married to his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, who he divorced in 2018. Jennifer got married after that to Justin Theroux, but she later divorced him in 2017.
While she hasn’t been in a serious relationship since her second divorce, Ben reconnected with his ex Jenny from the Block, who he dated from 2002 to 2004, in 2021 and they’ve been married since 2022. However, they’re most likely ending soon.
If it does, then the Murder Mystery star might be first in line to date the Argo actor given their history together.
“They did work together on He’s Just Not That Into You 15 years ago but they were trying to figure out a project together for years before then, and they still keep each other in mind for stuff,” an insider revealed. “There’s a very friendly and flirty open line of communication between them, plus a boatload of mutual friends — everybody from Jon Hamm to Sandra Bullock, who can totally see Ben and Jen becoming a couple down the road.”
Not to mention Ben is Jen’s “type” romantically.
“Ben really is exactly Jen’s type: he’s an overachiever, he’s self-made, he’s still culturally relevant, and he’s still handsome as hell,” the source added. “But Jen has had these unrequited crushes before — several times since she and Brad Pitt split up — and it’s always been tricky for her to turn them into something real.”
