MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) 2024 has announced the nominations for this year’s ceremony, which includes several globally celebrated K-pop idols. Jungkook, Lisa, Stray Kids, NCT Dream, NewJeans, and more have snagged nominations in various categories. Let’s look at the complete list of K-pop nominees and how to vote for VMA 2024 below.
VMA has been recognising the emerging talents of the K-pop industry for the last few years. The award ceremony introduced the K-pop category in 2019. TXT, BTS, NCT 127, EXO, Monsta X, and BLACKPINK were the first nominees in the 2019 VMA K-pop category.
Since then, BTS has majorly dominated the category with multiple wins. Other artists like Lisa and Stray Kids have also snagged the Best K-pop artist award in 2022 and 2023, respectively.

BTS Jungkook has also been nominated under the Best Collaboration category for his hit track “Seven” featuring Latto. Another HYBE group, Le Sserafim, snagged a nomination for their song “Easy” under the Best Push Performance Of The Year category. Meanwhile, Lisa has received nods in four categories: Best K-pop, Best Editing, Best Choreography, and Best Direction for her 2024 release, “Rockstar.”
How to vote for MTV VMA 2024
MTV has opened the voting lines for all the nominated artists from August 7 onwards. Fans can go to the official 2024 VMA website and register to vote for their favorite superstars daily. Per the website, fans can cast a total of twenty votes every day.
The 2024 edition of the MTV VMA will be held on September 10 at 8 p.m. ET, 5 p.m. PT, and September 11 at 9 a.m. KST and 5.30 a.m. IST. The program will be broadcast live from the UBS Arena outside New York City.
