The image shows eight faces of dice, five of which are red and three of which are blue – but one is missing,

The first face has five dots, the second three, and the third two.

The pattern then repeats itself in the second row, albeit in a slightly different order: three, two then five.

Puzzle fanatics are presented with four options – A, B, C and D.

A is red with two dots, B is blue with two dots, C is red with five dots and D is red with three.

How many dots will the ninth dice face have and what colour will it be?

The clock is ticking, can you find them before it’s too late?

If you’re stuck, take a look at the number combinations explained above and it may give you a hint.

Scroll down to reveal the answer if you’re still stumped.

Meanwhile, why not try some other optical illusions while you scroll?
