Drake’s Finsta Account Reposts Tweet Clowning J. Cole’s Relationship With Jay-Z

Drake is becoming more active on his alternate Instagram account, Plottttwistttttt , where he recently dropped “100 GIGS FOR YOUR HEADTOP” of miscellaneous files including music, behind the scenes footage, and more.

The recent uploads also include a repost of a 2019 tweet clowning J. Cole for the state of his relationship with Jay-Z.

“Remember when J Cole got his phone stolen out of pocket by a fan,” the X account wrote on Tuesday (Aug. 6). “They called JAY-Z from it but he wasn’t answering so they called from their own phone and he picked up.”

The latter is a direct jab at Cole, who signed with Roc Nation in 2009.

Upon his signing, the “First Person Shooter” collaborator was very vocal about his desire to build a bond with Hov, although Kanye West ultimately filled that spot with the Hip-Hop icon before their relationship became rocky.

Either way, Cole still had much success without any major support.

As for Drake, the Brooklyn-native has appeared on four of his albums, in comparison to Cole, who’s worked with Hov less than a handful of times.

The finsta account’s reposting of the tweet could just be a cryptic way of claiming that the North Carolina rapper doesn’t have the respect of seasoned rap vets. It also doesn’t help that Cole pulled out of what could have been a Kendrick-Cole-Drake rap beef this year.

After K. Dot dissed Cole and Drake on “Like That,” Cole responded with “7 Minute Drill,” but quickly removed the song and apologized. The “In The Morning” rapper claimed he felt “terrible” about the diss, leaving many of his peers with mixed reviews — apparently including Drake.

“The past two days felt terrible,” J. Cole said. “It let me know how good I’ve been sleeping for the past 10 years.”

See his apology below and the Drake finsta account taunting him above.
