Moving is not an easy experience. There's always so much to do and so little time to do it. But no matter how difficult a move you may have had in the past, imagine how much more challenging it would've been with eight dogs in tow.

It's a situation that would test anyone's courage, but with her unwavering bravery, this dog mom handled it like a total pro. Check out this video from July 28 to see how she managed the moving mayhem.

I initially thought moving and driving 1200 miles with two dogs was challenging. However, after witnessing the process of relocating with eight Dachshunds , it now seems like a much easier task. When the moving truck arrived, Yuna (@ yunabugs ) used it as an opportunity to help expend some of their energy by throwing balls down the ramp for them to chase. Smart! She then loaded the boxes, joking that most was stuff for the Weens. Watching the tiny legs going up and down the ramp to check everything out proved to be a great form of exercise for them. Once everything was loaded, it was time to head out with the dogs for their last exit from their former home. After arriving at the new house, the dogs happily explored and seemed thrilled with the beautiful new space and the gigantic backyard. Hopefully, those eight helpers assisted Mom in unpacking those boxes.

Ways to Make Moving Easier for Dogs

    1. If possible, bring your dogs to their new home to check things out before the move-in begins.
    2. Stick to routines like feeding and exercise times as much as possible to help dogs feel less stressed during this chaotic transition.
    3. When moving along a distance, bring their favorite beds and toys in the car so they have something familiar and comfortable when arriving at their new home.
    4. Make sure to have a box packed with their food, toys, bones, treats, bowls, and medications that are easily accessible on the road. I also recommend having a dog first aid kit with supplies such as antiseptics and iodine. On our first day in Florida, we ended up needing this for my husband, not the pups.
    5. For pups not used to traveling in the car, take them for short rides weeks before you begin your journey to get them acclimated. If your dog still shows signs of anxiety or motion sickness , talk to your vet about medication that may help make their trip more comfortable.

Although moving is challenging, a new start is always exciting! Now that they're in their lovely new home, the Weens and their parents will undoubtedly create many beautiful memories.
