Gucci has declared the beloved K-pop idol and BTS member Jin their latest global brand ambassador. The esteemed Italian luxury brand revealed the news on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. This announcement has delighted BTS fans all across the globe.

Since his discharge from the South Korean military service on June 12, 2024, Jin has been busy showering fans with amazing gifts. From sharing his incredible military experiences with fans on Weverse Live right after his discharge to giving away hugs at the 2024 BTS FESTA event, the singer and songwriter has captured the hearts of fans worldwide. He has also been the Olympic torchbearer for South Korea at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Gucci names Jin as their global ambassador

As mentioned earlier, on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, the Italian luxury brand Gucci named BTS Jin its latest global brand ambassador. The brand’s creative director, Sabato De Sarno, praised the K-pop idol’s unique style, kind personality, and remarkable artistry. The creative director further explained that it is their honor to share this brand journey with the Korean singer.

Now, the eldest BTS member joins an intriguing lineup of popular South Korean celebrities who are also Gucci ambassadors. The list includes Lee Jung Jae, Hanni, Jay Park, and Park Gyu Young.
