Pit Bull Demands Her Daily 'Corncob Time' and Pet Parents Are Cracking Up

We all have weird things we do with our dogs. To outsiders, they might make no sense, and they might be slightly off-putting, but, don't knock it 'til you try it!

One of the best examples of this, possibly ever, was just posted on TikTok on Saturday, August 3rd. When a puppy decided she wasn't getting enough love, she walked right up and demanded "corncob time." You have no idea what corncob time is right now, but you definitely need to:

Annabelle and Norman are both brats, but she's definitely a little more so. This is crazy! My oldest dog doesn't do this weird thing; his weird thing is demanding I fake fist-fight him.

Annabelle and Norman are littermates, and they were born on a Friday the 13th, hence their names: Annabelle after the creepy doll and Norman after Norman Bates. The two of them showed a real bond when they were puppies, so their parents (who were fostering them at the time) eventually gave in and decided to keep them both. Hooray for a foster fail!

Since then, the two of them love each other, but they also love their parents a ton. Annabelle is much more her dad's dog than Norman, who favors his mom. Maybe Annabelle likes dad the best because he's willing to do "corncob time." If you're still unclear about it, corncob time is when she rests her chin on his face and he simply pretends to eat it like one would eat a cob of corn. Why she loves that so much is unclear... maybe she gets itchy there!

Best Ways to Show Your Dog You Love Them

Listen, corncobbing is definitely one way to go. Obviously, Annabelle loves it, and your dog also might - though I'd probably recommend trying it slowly at first. Make no mistake, though, I will be trying it.

If your don't want to or your dog doesn't take well to corncobbing, there are plenty of other easy ways to show your dog you love them, even if you don't have a ton of time on your hands. You can try:

    1. Making eye contact with them while petting them.
    2. Forehead kisses! They love them!
    3. Saying nice things to them, even if they're not near you.
    4. Greeting them every time you walk into the room.
    5. Offering them special little treats.
    6. Literally just smiling at them. They go crazy.

As long as you're just generally nice to them, your dog will know you love them. If you've done a good job raising them, they'll never even question it. Annabelle definitely doesn't!
