K-pop girl group FIFTY FIFTY will start a new journey this year. The group has shared the release date and full schedule of their 2024 comeback project, including the introduction date of its new members.

FIFTY FIFTY‘s agency, ATTRAKT, previously shared a mysterious silhouette teaser of the group. From the glimpses of the new members, many K-pop speculated that the new FIFTY FIFTY lineup might include Chanelle Moon and Yewon.

Rookie act FIFTY FIFTY will make their 2024 comeback on September 20, 2024, at 1 p.m. KST, 12 a.m. ET, 5 a.m. BST and 9.30 a.m. IST. The comeback will feature FIFTY FIFTY’s second mini album. Before officially unveiling the new album, the group will reveal all members on a different date.

The 2024 comeback schedule of FIFTY FIFTY features:

• August 9, 2024: Hello FIFTY FIFTY
• August 12 and August 16, 2024: We Are FIFTY FIFTY
• August 21, 2024: Surprise announcement
• August 30, 2024: Surprise release at 1 p.m. KST
• September 20: Album release

Meanwhile, fans are interested in seeing if Korean American artist Chanelle Moon will join the new group FIFTY FIFTY. Previously, the rookie artist garnered praise for her striking talent in a survival reality show, R U Next. Before joining the reality show, the artist underwent K-pop training under YUEHUA Entertainment. Later, she came to HYBE’s sub-label Belift Lab with a dream to debut.

Unfortunately, Chanelle was unsuccessful in reaching the show’s final lineup. She bid goodbye to fans in R U Next episode 9. Following her exit, her fans wanted to see Chanelle’s next venture. However, as FIFTY FIFTY has undergone controversial changes since last year, fans have mixed feelings about the artist’s participation in the new group.

On the other hand, FIFTY FIFTY’s label ATTRAKT is eager to show the group’s new faces and share their vision with the fans. The label noted, “We are all too aware that today’s miraculous time and opportunity are only possible because of the precious fans who have been waiting for a long time.”

ATTRAKT has also hinted that the group will drop a pre-release track showing “FIFTY FIFTY’s unique color” before officially returning. The new song might drop on August 30 at 1 p.m. KST and 12 a.m. ET.
