When is the release date for Adam Sandler: Love You?
Adam Sandler: Love You will premiere globally on Netflix on August 27, 2024.
Sandler and Safdie produce the stand-up comedy special alongside Ronald Bronstein, Eli Bush, Dan Bulla, Carter Hambley, Brian Robinson, Joseph Vecsey, Judit Maull, Eli Thomas, and Perry Sachs. Barry Bernardi, Robert Digby, and John Irwin serve as executive producers on Love You, which is a Happy Madison production of Central Picture.
Safdie and Sandler have worked with one another before, as Safdie directed the 2019 thriller movie Uncut Gems, which starred Sandler, with his brother, Benny. With the two brothers having now decided to pursue solo careers, Josh is currently working on Marty Supreme, an A24 movie starring Timothée Chalamet about ping pong pro Marty Reisman.
Love You will be Sandler’s second Netflix comedy special following 2018’s 100% Fresh. Sandler has also starred in and worked on a number of feature films for the streaming platform, including 2015’s The Ridiculous 6, 2019’s Murder Mystery, 2020’s Hubie Halloween, 2022’s Hustle, 2023’s Murder Mystery 2, 2023’s You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah, and, most recently, 2024’s Spaceman.
He’s now producing another Netflix movie titled Kinda Pregnant, which stars Amy Schumer, Jillian Bell, Will Forte, Damon Wayans Jr., Lizze Broadway, Miranda Cosgrove, and more. Directed by Tyler Spindal, a release date for Kinda Pregnant has not yet been publicly announced.
