Severance star Patricia Arquette and Harry Potter franchise alum Tom Felton have joined Zazie Beetz (Deadpool 2) in the upcoming horror thriller They Will Kill You.

They Will Kill You is being produced by Nocturna Pictures, a horror label formed by Skydance and It filmmakers Andy and Barbara Muschietti. Kirill Sokolov is said to be on board to direct the project, should it move forward. It will be co-financed and distributed by New Line. Both Sokolov and Alex Litvak wrote the script for the feature.

What is They Will Kill You about?

A film described as a “tonal mix of

and The Raid,” They Will Kill You centers on a woman (set to be portrayed by Beetz) who accepts a housekeeping job in an enigmatic New York City high-rise. However, unbeknownst to her, the community she has joined has seen its fair share of mysterious disappearances, presumably due to a Satanic cult.

The film will be produced by the Muschiettis, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, and Dan Kagan, with Russell Ackerman, John Schoenfelder, Sokolov, Litvak, and Carl Hampe executive producing.

Best known for playing Draco Malfoy in all eight Harry Potter features, Felton has also starred in a number of films, including Rise of the Planet of the Apes, The Apparition, From the Rough, Against the Sun, Message from the King, A United Kingdom, Feed, Ophelia, Braking for Whales, A Babysitter’s Guide to Monster Hunting, The Forgotten Battle, Canyon Del Muerto, and Some Other Woman, among others.

On the other hand, Arquette is an Academy Award-winning actress with several impressive film and television credits under her belt, including in A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors, Trouble Bound, True Romance, The Secret Agent, Lady and the Tramp II: Scamp’s Adventure, Boyhood, The Wannabe, Otherhood, Gonzo Girl, Medium, Boardwalk Empire, CSI: Cyber, Escape at Dannemora, The Act, High Desert, and more.
