San Francisco 49ers linebacker Fred Warner.

From the outside, it seems like having a teammate on the verge of leaving would put a wrench in the overall training camp vibe. But this isn't the case for the San Francisco 49ers during the ongoing saga with Brandon Aiyuk. At least, not according to Fred Warner.

The three-time All-Pro linebacker spoke with the local media after practice on Wednesday and said the situation between the Niners and Aiyuk isn't spreading any bad juju around the locker room.

Warner, who was one of the Niners' captains last season, has been supportive of both his team and his teammate through the ongoing situation. Earlier in the offseason, he told NBC Sports Bay Area that Aiyuk's contract requests are "a good issue to have because, obviously, that means that your players are performing at such a high level that you have to have these kinds of conversations."

Tight end George Kittle also showed support for Aiyuk this offseason, telling NFL Network in Jul that the young wide out should get "the money that he deserves."

Aiyuk, 26, requested a trade from San Francisco this offseason after talks of an extension past his current rookie contract have not materialized. He is set to become an unrestricted free agent in 2025.

The fifth-year receiver from Arizona State has posted back-to-back seasons with at least 75 receptions, 1,000 yards and seven touchdowns.
