College Football Playoff Predictions: CFN Preview 2024 Bowl Projections

It's a whole new world for the College Football Playoff.

After ten years of the four-team format, the tournament is expanded to 12 with the first round being played on the home sites of the higher teams with the winners going on to play the top four seeds.

It's a wee bit more complicated than that, so here's the expanded College Football Playoff explained further with how the brackets work.

Basically, go 10-2 in a Power Four conference, and you'll probably be in. Win 11 games or more, and you'll be a lock. Where this gets weird will be if a Power Five championship loser is 9-4 or 10-3.
