Ginger Zee is sharing her go-to method for "healing" her body after a long and demanding day at work.

As ABC's chief meteorologist, Zee sometimes doubles as a storm chaser reporting for duty from the epicenter of some of the worst weather patterns. Traveling to the eye of the storm can not only be dangerous but also takes a toll on the body, as Zee has once again learned after spending hours in the car preparing her coverage of Tropical Storm Debby .

The Good Morning America personality appears to have found a solution for the stiffness caused by being sedentary during long-distance travel, proudly documenting a very specific yoga pose that can be done almost anywhere, as its only requirement is a bit of flexibility.

In the brief clip shared to her Instagram grid on Wednesday, Aug. 7, Zee can be seen lying on a white bath towel in what appeared to be the living area of a hotel room. Dressed casually in a blue T-shirt and red shorts, the weather presenter slowly puts herself into an upside-down "U" shape, commonly referred to as a Bridge or the Wheel Pose .

She held the pose for a few moments before straightening out her body and bringing her knees up to her chest for one final stretch.

"700 miles in the car, soaked and blown around… this heals all every time ❤️," the 43-year-old wrote in the accompanying caption, noting that nothing can stop her from getting into her routine as she does "this as soon as I get to hotel even when exhausted 👍."  She then tagged fellow weathercaster and ABC News producer Dan Manzo before wrapping up her post with two relevant hashtags: "#debby" and "#stormcoverage."

Zee isn't the only person who swears by using deep, slow stretches to address aches and pains or bring relief to other ailments. For years, experts have recommended restorative yoga practices to those looking to reap benefits like improved posture and flexibility , better sleep , regular bowel movements and even weight loss with simple measures.
