Snoop Dog is winning fan's hearts at the Paris Olympic Games with his offbeat commentary as a special correspondent for NBC.

So far we've seen him on adventures with Martha Stewart, getting swimming lessons from Michael Phelps , taking a private tour of the Louvre and hanging with gymnast Jordan Chiles ' parents .

Along the way, Snoop revealed he's seldom seen without a bag, backpack or tote. Many would call them “man purses,” but Snoop rejects that label.

"I love bags, backpacks, handbags, tote bags," he said in Vogue ’s In the Bag video series . "I'm not gonna call it a man purse 'cause it ain't."

The rapper admitted that he owns an Olympic-size collection of handbags.

How many bags does he have? "I think I got less than a thousand, more than five hundred," he said.

Snoop, 52, gave Vogue a peek inside his large red and white tote, which featured his name and the Olympics logo.

It was an incredible haul, including perfume ("so I can smell good,"), jewelry, Rap chips, an Xbox controller and a bottle of his own brand of wine called 19 Crimes.

"I always collect bags," Snoop said from Paris. He even went to the Olympic training facility and "left with a couple of bags." Perhaps they were among swag handed out to Olympic athletes competing in the Summer Games.

Snoop's taste for totes hasn't wavered through the years. From pricey Louis Vuitton to cheaper nylon and canvas items, here are some of Snoop's notable bags.

Just because the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” singer won’t call it a man purse doesn’t mean Snoop, who has been married to Shante Taylor since 1997, doesn’t love feminine things.

He said 10 years ago in an interview with Fader , “As males we all have feminine ways, just like women have masculine ways, so it’s OK to tap into those inner ways. I’m a man that can tap into my feminine side and still know that I’m a masculine man with a manicure. Cause it’s called a manicure, not a bitchicure.”

Snoop’s personality and style is legendary and fans have fallen in love with his Olympics moments so far .

The 6’4” star has also been spotted cheering on women’s gymnastics , proudly wearing a custom-made Simone Biles T-shirt that NBC Sports called a "perfect 10."

The hip-hop mogul has rocked a red hat and USA T-shirt at a U.S. men’s volleyball event.

In the Vogue video, while wearing a red, white and blue tracksuit, he said, "It's all about the outfit. The bag and the outfit has to coordinate. Everything has to go together. One thing about me is everything has to be uniform. It has to feel like it's together. If you notice this bag and this suit, they go together."

A couple of years ago, Snoop revealed that he didn’t become a flamboyant fashion icon until Tupac Shakur suggested he change his safe early rap look.

Snoop admitted he dressed in khakis and Converse chucks sneakers after he first hit it big with the album Doggystyle in 1993. But Tupac, who was murdered in 1996, told him a new style would increase his audience.

"[Tupac] like, ‘Me and you finna have a meeting… We stepping our game up. We gotta change your look, Snoop Dogg…You gotta start showing your fly side," Snoop recalled on The 85 South Comedy Show .

His style evolved from there and in the Fader interview, Snoop also called himself “a sock man…it all starts from the bottom.”

Now he’s admitted he’s also a handbag man.

“Being able to express myself is something that I’ve always been able to do very well,” the new coach on The Voice said.
