    Pedestrian hurt in crash on Main Street in Fairfax

    FAIRFAX, Va. ( DC News Now ) — The Fairfax City police said a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle near Woodson High School on Thursday.

    In a post on X , the Fairfax City Police Department said the crash happened on Main Street near Whitacre Road.

    1 dead, another hurt after crash caused chain reaction on I-95 in Howard County

    Details are limited; however, police said their injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.

    For about 25 minutes, all westbound lanes on Main Street were blocked off, but have since reopened.
