DELMAR, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — Friday afternoon, Bethlehem High School held a spring Signing Day ceremony to recognize 41 student-athletes making the transition from high school to college athletics.
Faculty members and parents witnessed their hard work pay off in a big way, and this is just the start of a new chapter in their athletic careers.
For Dartmouth basketball signee Ellie Cerf, the real work has just begun.
“It feels amazing just to be able to have all my hard work pay off,” said Cerf. “You know, I’ve spent a lot of time in the gym, getting up extra shots, running, doing extra, getting in the gym. But now I think, you know, the hard work really begins. I’m not content with just signing with Dartmouth. I want to be an impact player. So, I’m excited for the future.”
