Italian restaurant in Greene County abruptly closes

GREENVILLE, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — Modena Italian Cuisine, located at 10697 Route 32 in Greenville, has closed. Owners Danielle Corellis and Todd Graves made the announcement on Facebook on August 12.

“With great difficulty, we have decided to close Modena Italian Cuisine indefinitely,” said the owners. “We appreciate all of you who have supported us time and time again.”

From Modena’s Facebook page, it appears the restaurant was open on Friday, August 9. In the closure post, Corellis and Graves apologized to those who had reservations as they had to cancel them.

A reason for the abrupt closure was not given. Corellis and Graves did not immediately respond to NEWS10’s request for comment. Modena Italian Cuisine first opened in May 2023.

“We hope you all understand how difficult this decision was and how much we appreciate each and every one of you,” read the goodbye post.
