Rochester AMBER Alert: Have you seen Akelise Johnson?

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Police issued an AMBER alert for a child from Rochester who police believe may be in immediate danger.

Akelise Johnson, 7, was last seen on North Water Street in Rochester shortly before 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to investigators. He is about 4’6″ and was wearing a gray shirt, shorts, and clear glasses.

Police believe Akelise Johnson is with his mother, Celeta Johnson, who they consider a suspect. She was last seen wearing a short dark wig, white shirt, long dark pants, and a gold chain piercing from her ear to her nose.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.

Police were asked about videos posted online Tuesday afternoon, under the name “Celeta Johnson,” in which a woman claims to be afraid for her life. Investigators said they were not aware of the videos.
